Goal

Advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing goes beyond the basic program, placing emphasis on a more in-depth treatment of the fundamental principles of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

How the Program Works

You will learn unique applications of true position and extended datum principles. Through lectures, discussions and workshops, you will better understand and interpret the effects of RFS (regardless of feature size) and MMC(maximum material condition), as well as learn its impact on functional gage principles.

Methodology

Training sessions are comprised of lecture, hands-on workshops using actual products, written exercises, large group discussions, and PowerPoint presentation. Attendees receive a copy of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing by AL Neumann, which covers the 1994 standard reaffirmed in 1999.
